EGON DC-Hub 48V

The heart of the 48V revolution is the EGON DC-HUB 48V.

Using tried and tested EGON circuit board based power distribution, the Hub 48V is engineered to connect all major components including controllers, batteries, dc-converters, inverter, alternator and solar all to one central unit with in-built surge (load dump) protection.

TO BUILD an operational 48V system you will need the following products. In this list, only the alternator and battery are optional should you prefer to source them elsewhere. Other branded DC-DC converters or alternator controllers are NOT compatible with the Egon 48V hub.

Installation is literally a matter of following numbers to connect these devices. The battery can even be included pre-configured, in a plug and play solution.

By doing this, Egon has turned what once was a hugely complex, expensive and sometimes risky 48V installation into a plug & play adventure. Which means 48V is now available to anyone doing traditional 12/24V installations. 48V is no longer the purview of the top shops. Anyone can enjoy the wonders of 48V and as importantly, any workshop can do this shit.  And maintain it!

Included is a multi-purpose and extremely rugged protective stainless-steel bracket as seen in illustrations. It can be located in any orientation. (Remove plastic protective cover before use)
