The EGON 48V DC/DC converter steps an EGON 48V system down to 12V or 24V, so existing vehicle electrics and 12V or 24V camper systems keep working alongside 48V. It switches on through a dedicated trigger cable controlled by the EGON DC-Hub 48V.
Two versions
The converter comes in a 48V to 12V and a 48V to 24V version. Most set-ups use two: one to supply the vehicle's own charge current, and a second for a 12V or 24V system in the camper, canopy or living quarters. Both connect directly to the EGON DC-Hub 48V. Part of the EGON 48V system
This converter is designed for the EGON 48V system, alongside the EGON DC-Hub 48V, a 48V alternator, the Wakespeed / Victron 48V control kit and a 48V LiFePO4 battery. Other brands of DC/DC converter are not compatible with the EGON hub.
